check the identity and information provided by carers, including visual checks of: references, passports to confirm identity and right to live and work in the UK, stated qualifications and training certificates where available, CRB/DBS checks
introduce you to carers who we assess to be suitably qualified and experienced and who meet your preferences and needs
maintain an on-going relationship with you to ensure that you remain satisfied with the carer’s services
introduce you to more carers if additional or replacement carers are required
WE BELIEVE IN TRANSPARENCY
We believe it is important for clients to understand what they are paying for and where their money is going. We are therefore entirely transparent about our charges.
CARER & AGENCY FEES
The fees paid to carers are recommended by us but ultimately agreed and paid directly between you and the carers.
As an introduction agency our carers are self employed and responsible for invoicing their client directly.
DOMICILIARY CARE FEES
We charge a one-off fee for our services. This fee varies from client to client and is dependent on how often you wish to use us. We can provide you with an accurate figure for this fee should you decide to use our services.
The carer fees are charged on an hourly basis. The recommended fees are as follows:
Mon - Fri - Day £13, Eve (from 6pm) £15, Eve (from 9pm) £17
Weekend - Day £15, Eve (from 6pm) £17, Eve (from 9pm) £19
Public Holiday - Day £26, Eve (from 6pm) £30, Eve (from 9pm) £34
EMERGENCY DOMICILIARY CALL OUT
No agency fee for a carer's emergency call out. Carers charge as follows-
Weekdays £20 per hour up to 6pm and £25 after 6pm
Weekends £25 per hour up to 6pm and £30 after 6pm
(minimum charge of £20 per call out)
Discretionary agency fee for short notice urgent change to an existing rota £50
OVERNIGHT SLEEP-IN - 9 HOUR NIGHT
Carer fees are as follows:
Basic night - when carers can expect to be sleeping but need to be there just in case
Mon-Fri £85 / Weekend £100
Additional £30 extra charge for disturbed nights, being woken up to two times
Mon-Fri £160 / Weekend £180
Carers expect to be paid double time on bank holidays for all shifts apart from a waking night when carers will charge a £50 supplement.
You could qualify for £55.10 or £82.30 a week to help with the cost of personal care if you are physically or mentally disabled and 65 or over.
This is called Attendance Allowance and it is not means tested. It is paid at 2 different rates and how much you get depends on the level of care that you need.
